Pit Bulls Left To Die In A Filthy Home Wag Their Tails When They See Man There To Save Them

Two Pit Bulls were waiting and waiting for someone to save them after their family left them behind. One was confined in a crate, the other was roaming freely, but both were all alone in a filthy, foreclosed home.

Fortunately, neighbors had been feeding them to keep them from starving to death, but the two dogs needed help. That’s when Frankie Florida of Guardians of Rescue stepped in. Frankie received a call about the two dogs and arrived with his team to save them.

The New York-based animal rescue saves dogs who are neglected, abused and abandoned. These two dogs were no different. The dogs, a male and female, were nervous and barking when Frankie first entered the home, but their tails were also wagging furiously!

In the short video clip below, Frankie walks into the home and sees the dogs for the first time. “This is how we found them … Alone in an empty house scared and defeated…the conditions of the house were terrible,” describes Frankie. “Good thing we got there before something bad happened to them.”

Both dogs looked so sad and scared, but they also looked relieved someone had come to save them. And the moment they were taken outside their moods shifted!

They must have known they were in safe hands! Guardians of Rescue named the dogs Max and Sky.

Max went from looking sad and scared…

…to happy! He’s now in a foster home getting lots of love and attention until he’s ready for adoption!

And Sky has already found her forever home!

Happy endings like this are thanks to the community coming together! If it were not for the Good Samaritans who helped alert Guardians of Rescue, Max and Sky may have had a very different ending. As Frankie says, “Together we save them!”
