Sick Pit Bull Puppy Walks Into Fire Station Looking For Help
A tiny sick stray puppy found herself help when she walked into the East Cleveland Fire Department. Firefighters took one look at the desperate 5-month-old Pit Bull mix and knew she needed medical help. She had open wounds all over her body from severe mange.
The homeless pup followed one firefighter around for hours while the team arranged to take her to Crossroads Animal Hospital.
“It was a pretty smart move on her part, but she is desperate, her poor feet are swollen, she’s got open wounds on her head — boy just a little bit of love is going to go miles for her,” Dr. Kim Cooper said.
The puppy, now named Sistine, will be fostered Muttley Crue Rescue until she’s regained her health and ready to be adopted!
Good news update: It appears Sistine has found a forever home!
