'Our Planet' Viewers Left In Tears By He.art.break.ing Baby Flamingo Scene

People, who love to see documentaries about animals that live a happy life, should stay away from the latest Netflix series that aired for the first time on April 5th.

Since the first time it aired, a documentary called ‘’Our Planet’’ have left people that watched sad and he.art.brok.en.

The documentary is narrated by Emmy and BAFTA winner the famous Sir David Attenborough, this documentary is an illustration of the c.r.u.e.l reality of our climate change.

‘’Our Planet’’ consists of only eight episodes, and is raising a huge warning regarding our planet’s future by sharing the devastating impact of us humans in the environment.

The dramatic way of how the wildlife and the environment have changed during the last 50 years, it’s s.ca.ry and he.art.break.ing.

From the first minutes, the show reveals how “climate change affects East African lesser flamingos in Tanzania’s Serengeti Desert.”

The flamingo babies are feeding themselves with a form of algae that grows only in alkaline lakes, but the high temperatures have made the fresh water to dry up, so poor birds need to flee across the vast salt plains.

Most of flamingo babies are unable to fly, but they are forced to walk near 50 km to find the closest freshwater place. But to reach that they need to walk fast, otherwise the salt will solidify around their legs, and Mother Nature shows no mercy to the poor unlucky ones.

With its family speeding ahead, a tiny chicken is seen struggling to keep the fast walk.

“They may have to trek for 50 kilometres. Some cannot keep up. The salt has solidified around their legs,” Sir David describes the heartbreaking scene.

We are not surprised to find out that viewers were crying during the heartbreaking scene, and many of them used social media to share and describe their crushed feelings the flamingo video made them experience.

The whole documentary just like this scene is he.art.break.ing, but we need this documentary to slap in our faces and make us understand how we humans are des.troy.ing the poor planet Earth, every single day.
